Teens4LA

Having grown up in Pacific Palisades, I was extremely devastated by the recent LA fires. My former high school, scout camps, and old neighborhood were destroyed in the Palisades fire. Despite my shock, I wanted to be solution-oriented and take immediate action. I partnered with Another Awesome Day, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focusing on teen mental health and suicide prevention, to launch an initiative to raise money for students and young people affected by the fires.
Teens4LA launched on the Pledge platform, raising over $30,000 thus far, to support overlooked areas of crisis response, specifically teen mental health. Pledge uniquely allows wide flexibility for donors, accepting donations in 130 different cryptocurrencies, enabling instant global support for nonprofits and organizations serving LA communities affected by the fires.
Teens4LA has caught the attention of many news outlets, including KEYT, Investor’s Hangout, and the Santa Barbara Independent. I’ve also appeared on the K-LITE 101.7 morning show with Catherine and LA Check In, a livestreamed fundraiser hosted by the Annenberg Foundation and will.i.am.
